Limits
Up to three buttons per message, each with a label of 1 to 20 characters and a web address. linkpls adds https:// if you leave it off.
Text length with buttons
Instagram allows 640 characters of text in a message with buttons, fewer than a plain message鈥檚 1,000 bytes. If the text runs longer, linkpls shortens it and keeps the links.
How clicks are counted
Each link goes through a short linkpls redirect that counts the click, then sends the person on to your page. Clicks are counted in total for each automation, not per person.
If buttons can鈥檛 be shown
If Instagram refuses a message with buttons, linkpls sends it again as plain text with the links written out.
Questions
Can I see who clicked?
No. linkpls counts clicks for each automation, not for each person.
Can a DM include images?
Not in linkpls. Messages are text and link buttons.
